Terms of Service

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

1. Booking & Cancellations

Scheduling: All appointments are subject to availability. We will confirm your requested time via email or text.

Cancellations: We respectfully request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a cancellation fee of $50.00.

Access: Please ensure someone is home or a key/code is provided for access. If we cannot access the property upon arrival, a trip charge may apply.

2. Payments & Rates

Payment Due: Payment is due in full upon completion of the service.

Accepted Methods: We accept Credit/Debit Cards, Checks, Cash, Zelle, and CashApp.

Hourly Services: For services billed hourly (e.g., Handy Amy tasks at $35/hr), billing begins upon arrival and is rounded up to the nearest 15 minutes.

Estimates: Online estimates are preliminary. Final pricing may be adjusted based on the actual scope of work discovered on-site. We will always seek your approval before exceeding the original estimate.

3. Service Limitations (Handy Amy & General Repair)

Scope: We perform light repairs, organization, and errands. We do not perform licensed trade work (major electrical, plumbing, or HVAC) unless specified by a licensed professional on our team.

Safety: We reserve the right to refuse service if working conditions are deemed unsafe or unsanitary.

Pet Safety: Please secure all pets while our team is working in your home or yard.

4. Liability

Workmanship Guarantee: Smart Home Repair, LLC stands behind our work. If there is an issue with our workmanship, please notify us within 30 days so we can make it right.

Pre-Existing Conditions: We are not responsible for damage related to pre-existing structural issues, rot, or brittle materials that break during standard repair attempts.
